Two-person infrared cabins are the most common home sauna in our check, and the one people search for most often with "best". We cannot tell you which feels best: we have not sat in any of them. We can tell you what each one costs, how many watts it draws, which outlet it needs and how much floor it takes, from the makers' pages and spec sheets, and pick the cheapest one for each need by a rule written above every pick.

Three things to check before you choose
- The outlet. "Plugs into a standard outlet" can mean a 15 A outlet (Peak Crown), a 20 A outlet with a T-shaped slot on its own circuit (most of them), or a 30 A twist-lock (Sun Home Eclipse 2). Run yours through the panel check.
- The watts. They range from 1,800 to 4,800 W in this group, and the running cost follows. Sun Home publishes the watts for its Solstice 2 (2,006 W), not for its Equinox 2; Sunlighten's spec sheets give all of theirs. Price a session in the cost calculator.
- The footprint. About 51 x 41 in for the smallest, 69.9 x 47.1 in for the largest, plus the 4 in of wall clearance the makers ask for. Check it in will it fit.
Red-light panels, chromotherapy, Bluetooth and app control are listed on many of these pages. We do not compare them: they are features, not numbers we can check, and several come with health claims we will not repeat.

Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest 2-person infrared sauna in your check?
The SaunaBox Solara 2-Person, $3,999 on November 7, 2026 (the store showed a compare-at price of $5,000). SaunaBox rates it 2,073 W in all (1,800 W of infrared plus 273 W of red light) on a 20 A NEMA 5-20 outlet, and prints 51 x 41 x 71 in outside.
Can a 2-person infrared sauna run on 120 V?
Most in our check do: the Solara 2-Person, Peak's Crown, Everest and Fuji, Sun Home's Solstice 2 and Equinox 2, and Sunlighten's Signature II, mPulse Believe and Amplify II, and Almost Heaven's Hinton and Harmony all plug in at 120 V, most on a dedicated 20 A circuit. Peak's Crown uses a standard 15 A outlet. Sun Home's Eclipse 2 is 120 V but needs a 30 A twist-lock outlet; Sunlighten's Amplify RED II and the outdoor models are 240 V.
How big is a 2-person infrared sauna?
From 51 x 41 in (SaunaBox Solara 2-Person) and 48 x 44 in (Peak Crown) to 69.9 x 47.1 in (Almost Heaven Hinton, sold for 2 to 3), and 71 to 83 inches tall. Run your room through the fit check before you order: cabins arrive as wall panels.
Which 2-person infrared sauna is best?
We do not score them: we have not tested any. Our picks are the cheapest model that meets each written condition, shown above, and the table lets you sort out the rest by price, power and size.
