Sauna Watts is an independent website. It is meant to be paid through affiliate links: when you click a link to a brand store (Sun Home, Peak Saunas, Redwood Outdoors, SaunaBox, Sweat Kingdom, Sunlighten) and buy, the store may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. This is a material connection under the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), so we disclose it at the top of every page with such links, close to the links themselves, and here. As of November 7, 2026, no affiliate program has accepted the site yet: links go to the stores' product pages without tracking. We found no affiliate program for Almost Heaven: we list its saunas because they are a large part of the market, and those links earn us nothing.
How we work
- We have not bought, used or tested any sauna. We never describe heat, comfort or build quality from experience. We compare what the makers publish on their product pages and spec sheets, line by line.
- Every figure has its source and the date we read it (November 7, 2026). When a figure is not published, we write "not published". Our own arithmetic is marked [calc].
- No brand or store pays to be listed or ranked. "Our picks" follow a written rule: the cheapest sauna with a published price that meets the stated condition. Tables are sorted by price or by the figure in the column, never by commission.
- We publish no customer reviews, no ratings, no stars and no "tested" claims, in line with the FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465).
- We make no health claims and do not repeat the makers' claims about what heat does for the body. Under the FTC Act, health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, which is for the makers to hold, not for a comparison site to pass on.
Prices
Prices are those shown by the stores on the day we checked, including sale prices. A struck-through price appears only when the store itself shows a compare-at price. Sunlighten publishes no prices.
