Who writes this site
Written by the Sauna Watts editorial team. We sign as a team, not with a personal name, and we never use an invented persona. Our method is the same on every page: we read the makers' product pages and spec sheets and public data sources, quote the figures with the date we read them, run the calculations shown on the page, and pick models with written rules, never by commission. We have not bought or tested the saunas we compare. The full method is on How we compare.

What this site is, and is not
Sauna Watts compares home saunas from the figures their makers publish on their own U.S. stores and spec sheets, and adds public data: residential electricity prices from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. It has not used or tested any sauna and is not affiliated with any brand. It is not electrical advice: a licensed electrician installs any sauna circuit, following the maker's manual and the local code. It makes no health claim of any kind. Brand names belong to their owners.
